Trade Circular on Resumption of Beef and Pork Imports from Germany following the Reinstatement of the status Free from Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) without Vaccination

      We are pleased to inform you that Germany has reinstated the FMD-free status of a containment zone where vaccination is not practised in Brandenburg and Berlin and concurrently, recovered the WOAH status of “FMD-free country where vaccination is not practised” for the entire Germany (with effect from 14 April 2025).

2   In view of the above, the export of beef and pork from the contaminant zone as well as from the entire Germany, may now resume with immediate effect.   

3   Please contact SFA should you have any enquiries on the import of beef and pork and its products from Germany.
