Award of Tender for 3 Land Parcels for Vegetable or Food Fish Farming at Lim Chu Kang and Sungei Tengah

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has awarded the tender for one land parcel at Lim Chu Kang and two land parcels at Sungei Tengah today.
2 The land parcel at Lim Chu Kang was awarded to Universal Aquaculture Pte Ltd (LCK 114A), while land parcels at Sungei Tengah were awarded to Nexton Asia Pte Ltd (ST3A) and Fogo Fungi Pte Ltd (ST28D). These companies submitted competitive proposals to produce crustaceans, mushrooms and leafy greens, and were chosen based on their production capability, production track record and sustainability of their business plans.
3 The tender for the Singapore Agri-Space Sales (SAS) Programme 2025 was launched on 23 June 2025 and attracted 21 proposals when it closed on 18 August 2025.
4 Mr Leong Der Yao, SFA's Deputy CEO (Corporate, Industry & Technology) said: "We are heartened by the number and quality of proposals received, as this demonstrates the industry's interest and confidence in our AgriFood sector. Over the years, our farms have made progress. For example, from 2019 to 2024, the productivity of our farms increased by 10% and 17% for vegetables and seafood respectively. Through the SAS tenders, we continue to make space available for productive farms to contribute to our targets announced under the Singapore Food Story 2 (SFS2) to achieve our food security objectives."
