Requirements for Licence / Registration for Farming

What are the eligibility requirements?

Before you apply for a Farm Licence or Fish Culture Farm Licence:

1. You must be registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and have a UEN issued by ACRA.
   
   
2. You must have secured a space for your farm, submitted your plan for farming at the premises to SFA for endorsement, obtained clearance from relevant agencies, and commenced small-scale production. For details, see Requirements to Start a Farm in Singapore. 

What are the conditions of the licence?

Licensees must comply with the conditions of licence listed in the table below. Only farming activities approved under the licence are permitted at the licensed premises. Licensees are not allowed to host non-farming activities such as commercial tours.

What other licence/registration might I need?

Fish culture farms that have obtained its Fish Culture Farm Licence are also required to do the following: 

• obtain Fishing Vessel Licence for vessels servicing your fish culture farms
  
  
• register personnel employed or engaged in any activities on your fish culture farms
